The Ukrainian American Citizens' Association (UACA), established in 1909 in Philadelphia, PA, is a premier member-based organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating Ukrainian heritage and culture. Known locally as the Ukie Club on Franklin, UACA offers a comprehensive range of services and facilities designed to strengthen community bonds and support Ukrainian causes. The organization maintains an active Members Bar featuring cocktails and traditional beverages, operates the Ukrainian Pierogie Kitchen serving authentic cuisine on select Sundays, and provides a welcoming atmosphere for social gatherings and cultural celebrations. Beyond dining and social amenities, UACA serves as a vital community hub, hosting numerous events throughout the year including the annual Pig Roast, Turkey Fry, and various Ukrainian organizational benefits and fundraisers. The organization also offers professional facility rental services, with a spacious hall, private yard, and ample parking available for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions. For over 110 years, UACA has demonstrated unwavering commitment to financial support of Ukrainian causes and assistance with refugee resettlement. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Philadelphia, UACA welcomes both Active and Social members who share a passion for Ukrainian traditions and community involvement. The organization continues to serve as headquarters for numerous Ukrainian groups while maintaining its role as the first and most established Ukrainian-American citizens' organization in the Philadelphia region.
